Aimee McWilliams
Aimee McWilliams is a contemporary luxury brand. She is considered one of the UK’s most successful rising designers. With a flawless history of awards and recognition for her innovative approach, she is fast becoming one of the most sought after high end ready to wear designers of today. The collections are associated with both exquisite finishing and a unique approach to cutting. There is a subtle flamboyance in her style that creates a wearable and sellable product, yet she has managed to maintain a reputable name as an avante-garde designer with an air of eccentricity. On graduation from the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, McWilliams was the winner of the L’Oreal Total Look award for the best collection, numerous job opportunities began to flood in from some of the industries biggest names, such as Roberto Cavalli, John Galliano and Gianfranco Ferre and has recently been nominated for Scottish Designer of the year. McWilliams believes so intrinsically in her approach to design that she describes it as a philosophy. Her style is unmistakable. There is a signature that runs throughout every collection that is becoming ever more recognisable as an Aimee McWilliams cut. Such a directional approach to design translates to many more sectors other than womenswear collections alone.

Afshin Feiz
Paris-based British designer Afshin Feiz attended Studio Bercot School and went on to get experience at Thierry Mugler, John Galliano, Christian Lacroix and Nina Ricci until he launched his eponymous label in 2004 with business partner Thierry Gillet. His flirtatious diaphanous dresses and blouses are mixed with perfectly cut tailoring that creates chemistry between the masculine and feminine that focuses on the latter. Though never literal in his interpretations, his collections always tell a story, whether investigating love through Persian poet Rumi, or investigating the idea of light versus dark through a look at Aztec mythology as is the case for his new collection. Music world collaborations have come in the form of his catalogue being shot by friend Bryan Adams, his show invitation being designed by Richard Butler of The Psychedelic Furs or The Brand New Heavies performing live at his show. Feiz has been showing on schedule for several seasons at New York Fashion week and debuts back home at London Fashion Week this September 2007 at On|Off. He has dressed everyone from Katie Holmes to Elizabeth Hurley to Paris Hilton and his clothes are carried across the globe.

Deryck Walker
Deryck launches his debut women’s collection taking inspiration from 40’s tailoring and 50’s youth culture, with futuristic elements and an understated glamour. Developing his signature Origami inspired pieces, Deryck creates a fashion statement with longevity to the highest standard. The range will include a total of 18 looks including 4 menswear looks, incorporating new bold silhouettes cleverly balancing a feminine masculinity.
The collection is entitled ‘Information’ where Deryck draws on what he has learnt, in addition to continuing his narration on fantasy characters and fashion portrayed in his previous menswear ranges named; Wizards, Wizard versus Machines, Oracle and CB (Couture Boy). Mixing lightweight suiting fabrics, crisp cottons, and high lights of leather with John Smedley Knitwear in a palette of powder blues, whites and black, the look is clean and graphic.
Deryck is working with the up and coming milliner Justin Smith, tipped to be the next Stephen Jones, to work on headwear to compliment and inspire the collection

Jacob Kimmie
Jacob Kimmie returns to On|Off Spring Summer 08 showing for the first time
under the Jacob Kimmie label. Born in South Africa, Jacob's collections are
deeply personal, private and obscure and contain ambiguous references. The
label is distinctly British and manufactured in the United Kingdom; the
look, seriously sexy directional neo-British style.
"I'm driven by anger and injustice. I think it's why I push my work to
embody an ideal of absolute, perfect and eternal beauty-like an antidote.
It's the only truth to which we can aspire."

Mac Millan
Mac Millan was founded by designer Jane McMillan who wanted to carve a niche in the fashion universe with her unique vision of colour and texture. She moved to London to study womenswear at The London College of Fashion winning many awards for design.
Jane further enhanced her skills at Ally Capellino and Bella Freud, worked with fashion legend Ossie Clarke and as a visiting lecturer at Central Saint Martins College. Rather than work at international fashion house Jill Sander, Jane launched her first collection of fluid silk dresses and since 2004 has been showing on the official schedule at New York Fashion Week.

Reem
Reem previously sold top of the range vintage clothing 13 years ago in Notting Hill. Her stall is at Portobello road market, on the junction of Acklam road. During this time she would practice her flair for displaying classic pieces restyled thus widening the appeal of the garment to more than just collectors of vintage fashion.
Due to her desire for creation, Reem is renowned for her wildly eclectic style. This, combined with a growing underground reputation. It was only a matter of time before several British designers would introduce themselves to her, with the intention of establishing a working relationship. The likes of John Richmond, Robert Carey Williams, and Stella McCartney, have all courted her services & this has led to highly successful collaborations.
“My fascination for clothes started when I was a teenager. I was offered a place at St Martins School of art, in London, but instead I opted to teach myself to pattern cut and sew by unpicking damaged vintage pieces apart and sewing them back together again. In time, I would start to sell my own customised vintage pieces on my stall. Eventually designers started to take a keen interest in my work. I was approached by John Richmond to style his show in Milan, An offer I did not refuse!” Reem Alasadi

Spijkers and Spijkers
Sharp, bold and functional – SpijkersenSpijkers have built an instantly recognisable and desirable signature style, one.
SpijkersenSpijkers is female design knowledge squared. Twin sisters Truus and Riet set up the company after graduating and complement each other’s talents perfectly: Truus is the painter, she thinks in style and colours, while Riet is the sculptor, turning their mutual ideas into three-dimensional pieces. The mix of soft materials with hard lines comes from an historical fascination with the 1920’s. Their design principal, ‚form follows function‘, is partial to art deco and modernistic influence of this period "Style Moderne“.
