Jayne Pierson graduated from the University of Glamorgan with a First Class BA Honours degree in Fashion Design, combining additional units of study from Central St. Martins, London. Jayne went on to win the London Graduate Fashion Week Ecological Design Award amongst many other national competitions. Jayne Pierson also gained a wealth of luxury brand experience interning and working for couture designers Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood. She successfully showcased her debut Paladin Collection Spring/Summer 2010 exclusively with On|Off at London Fashion Week in September 2009, sponsored by Vogue.com and Lotus.
Jayne Pierson has a fascination with the physical properties of materials, which are intrinsic to her designs, whilst testing the possibilities of fabrics. She manipulates them into complex new forms yet maintains an effortless fluidity in her pieces – a true testament to her craftsmanship and vision.
Jayne Pierson creates directional, luxury womenswear that redefines the female form in empowering and uncompromising garments in leather pleating, luxe woven fabrics, future print paint, silks and draped leathers. Juxtaposing innovative material directions with avant-garde details inspired by a warped sense of history and intangible glitches in space and time, where historical references get confused and hybrids emerge. The collection encompasses high-end details and signature premium finishes for the uncompromising woman.
