deFUZE Magazine – Edeline Lee
The emerging Fashion, Art and Photography magazine deFUZE say ‘Edeline Lee Autumn Winter 2016 collection started with the idea of a return to simplicity.
“I think we are all feeling the need to simplify, pull back, minimise, declutter, eat cleaner food, air our inboxes, stop keeping up with the Joneses, turn off our iphones and go off the grid. I used purer shapes, cleaner lines and fabrics with integrity. The landscape and climate we line in now ironically requires us to be constantly exposed and yet at the same time, hold ourselves once removed from all the chatter” comments Edeline.
The presentation took place at On|Off, in The Vinyl Factory where artist Kyung Roh Bannwart created an abstract landscape using a mixture of powerful black and white disposition and colourful, playful shapes made of shredded papers as a background.’
