Colin Horgan

COLIN HORGAN is a MA Graduate in Fashion Womenswear from The Royal College Of Art , London. HORGAN’S influences are a combination of physical and virtual women while growing up in his childhood. His work is surrounded by a hyper sensational concept of ‘Dangerous Women’. His fascination with archiving led him to create a plan that would support his existing personal research on furthering his vision. Part of HORGAN’s work was to not only create a collection of highly finished clothing but to also create an environment where people can also hear what his world represents. During his MA show he also launched an EP of six tracks that went live onto Spotify, iTunes and all major platforms as an alternative way for viewers to easily access and take away a piece of the ‘Horgan’ tribe. Prior to moving to London he completed his BA at Limerick School Of Art & Design (Ireland) and worked under danish designer Anne Sofie Madsen , David Andersen and Johanna Pihl. Horgan has collaborated with brands such as Kopenhagen Fur, Brioni and Kira Goodey to elevate his work even further and transport the wearer to a higher place. His work has been seen in iD, Dazed ,Hunger and more with a large interest from the music industry seen wearing his work. Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Little Mix, Miss Fame, Arca and many more have been very supportive in wearing his signature pieces.
