The charming villains are humanists and magicians.

Across generations, they search for eclectic aesthetics, travel and live across the globe. The clothes embody individuality as well as hybridity and flexibility. They all encapsulate fragments of historical, modern and contemporary menswear. When worn and observed, they become the receptacles for interpretations, incarnations to allow sharing and dialogues. They also defy viewers/wearers to grasp some new references and incorporate them into their own wardrobes. Their layers of transparencies blur the limits between body and space, past and future. Not only looking at the cut, it was also key to subvert colours, materials and technics of production. By mixing contrasting materials such as velvet, fleece lining, webbing and sit belts, I enabled them to be part of multiple eras. Some people see a flight jacket, others Japanese bondage or Queen Margot‘s costumes in Patrice Chereau movie from 1994. However complex, they are understandable and wearable products. They are not standardized but potentially universal.
